Welcome Educators to the

 Motus O Schools Page !

Motus O has been working with educators and with students of all ages across North America for over twenty five years.

We do a lot of great things in schools, including

• Performing shows in Schools*.

• Providing drama, dance and movement workshops for students

• Adding a Professional Touch to School Shows of all kinds through extra coaching, choreography and direction.

• Training Educators to make them more confident dance and movement teachers.

We are good at this! It’s not just us saying it, see our Testimonials. We’ve got lots more if you want to hear about them!

Right now we are offering Public Schools (Students primarily in Grades K-8)

FROM FAIR AND WIDE, O CANADA

&

 PETROUCHKA

Teachers and students love it, so does The Toronto Star!

We are also touring High Schools with our show

PRISONER OF TEHRAN

based on the autobiography of Marina Nemat of the same name. This powerful show contains important but mature themes including human rights and surviving political prison and torture and is suitable primarily for students in Grades 10 and older. It is followed by a Q and A with the author who appears on stage and narrates during much of the show.

" ... perfect in length, message and delivery. The dance is by turns athletic and nuanced as the four artists wind around Nemat's words and her physical body. The narration, the movement, and the spaces between the two create a powerfully emotional experience for the audience. The piece is simply spectacular". –
